I haven’t seen any marketing that would hint towards the DLC being easier or more accessible and difficulty was a core design principle of Cuphead. But I can s-rank the ghost train, Cagney or Beppi regularly. I know I’m never s-ranking king dice, the devil, Wally, djimmi or kahls robot. Now I’ve beaten almost everyone on expert, S-ranked a few and can beat most base bosses reliably. Obviously there’s a bias on internet culture, this sub and Cuphead fans to highly skilled gamers who are S-ranking the DLC within a day or two of release but I’m interested in the general experience of the DLC.įor context, I took a while to master(ish) the base game. ![]()
